Voice lessons

Together we'll work toward developing and strengthening your vocal functional singing skills, artistry, and craft. Whether you're brand new to your voice or whether you've been training it for years, I am here to support you with your individual singing goals. If you're a singer/songwriter, I'd also be happy to support you in working on your own material.

If you're seeking support with exploring and/or shifting how you're using your voice as it relates to gender, this would fall underneath my gender affirming voicework services.

  • How much do services cost?
For both the mental health and gender affirming voicework sessions I provide, I use the below session fees. Individual sessions: $130 per fifty-minute session Group sessions: $50 per group session
  • Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately, I am not in network with any insurance companies at this time, but I am committed to making services as accessible as possible to all. I can accept HSA/FSA cards. Depending on your insurance, I can potentially provide superbills (basically an in-depth receipt) for you to pursue reimbursement directly from your insurance provider for my fees. Please note that my supervisor would need to sign off on these superbills, and I cannot guarantee that services will be reimbursable by your insurance provider. If you plan to pursue reimbursement, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to get clear about your own benefits and what is needed to cover services.
  • Do you offer a sliding scale?
Yes! I have a sliding scale available for individuals depending on their specific financial situation. Please note that if you are seeking reimbursement through your insurance provider, we will not be able to use this sliding scale. Lastly, if you use a sliding scale spot and really can afford to pay the full fee, you are limiting access to care for those who need financial flexibility. Being honest about your financial situation enables the growth of more equitable and financially sustainable communities. The cost of therapy reflects a respect and commitment to the work of practitioners in healing fields who have professional costs and living expenses. When paid fairly, practitioners are able to dedicate more resources to each therapy participant and can provide more free and low cost offerings. For more information about my sliding scale options, please contact me directly.
  • In what states are you able to work?
In the age of virtual sessions, telehealth has greatly improved access to services as we've been able to hop online from different locations. That said, there are limitations to who I am able to work with, and this is solely determined by licensing requirements. For mental health services, I am only able to work with those physically located in the state of Pennsylvania. For gender affirming voicework services, I am able to work with those across the USA. However, please note that due to licensing requirements, there are certain states in which I am unable to work (i.e., Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, and Virginia). If you're located in a state that I'm not able to work within, there may be some situations where we can work out an arrangement with state licensing boards but this is never a guarantee. If we end up not being able to work together due to location, I would be happy to support you in getting connected to a local talk therapist, music therapist, and/or voice specialist.
