Individual & Group Supervision
Supervision can be an incredibly important part of clinical practice for music therapists at all points of their career. In supervision, we will use a mix of verbal and creative techniques to aid you in deepening and improving your clinical work by exploring person of the therapist, professional goals, self-care routines, skill development, ethical challenges/dilemmas, and other areas of clinical concern. I emphasize a social justice lens and a resource-oriented perspective and specialize in supervision for queering music therapy practice and for gender affirming voicework.
While I am currently accepting supervisees, practicum and internship placements are unavailable at this time, although it is my hope to create opportunities for these in the future. I will be offering space for those pursuing training in gender affirming voicework to complete the supervised clinical hours needed through Becoming Through Sound if they don't already have space to initiate gav work (e.g., private practice, agency, etc.).
